VMware, a global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure, is the fastest growing IT company in Australia. vForum (formally Virtualization Forum), their flagship event, focuses on the practice of virtualization technology and infrastructure. The Forum is attended by members of the IT community who are users, implementers and decision-makers and influencers of virtualization within their organisation, as well as the VMware Partner Ecosystem. The Exhibition component involves technology vendors with their products, solutions and services on offer all circling around virtualization.

In the lead up to their 2010 vForum, BESydney coordinated a meeting between VMware and Industry and Investment NSW to explore opportunities to leverage on each other's strength for a successful event in 2011 and 2012. The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre also supported this initiative to secure the event for multiple years.

Securing this event in NSW for another two years further solidifies NSW's position as the IT hub of Australia.

The event will be managed by George P. Johnson (Australia) Pty Limited.
